Paid internship opps are available through the ICAN California Abilities Network's Supported Employment Program close to Lawndale, CA. The 3 to 6 months internship is created to develop the skills essential for competitive employment. Participants work with a job coach to learn and grow job-relevant skills, acquire experience in the workplace, and gain knowledge of employer’s expectations. With a one-on-one job coach, our clients are able to receive customized support as they progress with their internship. We also assist with job goal setting, communication skills, and job search techniques. Destinations and areas to go to in Lawndale include: Jane Addams Park - take a walk or play some basketball.
