Paid internship opportunities are available through the ICAN California Abilities Network's Supported Employment Program close to Lawndale, CA. The 3 to 6 months internship is created to foster the skills essential for competitive work. Participants work with a job advisor to learn and grow job-related skills, get experience in the work environment, and understand the employer’s expectations.
With a one-on-one job coach, participants are able to get personalized assistance as they progress with their internship. We also assist with career goal setting, communication skill sets, and job search methodologies.
